For sending bulk sms, is any mobile Handset required?

No. You need only a computer with internet.

I have a computer institute. Can you explain me how to use bulk sms for my institute?

There are two types of sms, ,
1. Promotional sms
2. Transactional sms.
Promotional sms is used for business promotion or any other advertising purpose. As per TRAI rule, Promotional sms is only for business / product promotion. Messages can not be sent on DND enabled mobile numbers. Message sending time: 9 AM to 9 PM.
Transactional sms is used for any type of transactional notification, for example: You can send sms to all your students to alert them for payment due date. After payment, you can send sms for payment confirmation at their mobiles. Also you can send any notification for examination and holidays.

Many companies offer me bulk sms service at 5 paisa per sms. How do they provide sms service at low cost?

Beware about these bulk sms service. Actually operators(voda, airtel) charge approximately 11 to 13 paisa + service tax Per sms. Then how will they give you at 8 paisa per sms. They have very simple calculation. They can not deliver approximately 30% - 40% sms but report will show delivered. This technology is called “sms cutting”.

Can I send any wishing / Birthday message to our customers?

You can send any wishing or birthday message from our promotional panel.

I have five thousand existing customers. I want to send birthday sms automatically when their birthday comes. Is this possible?

Yes. You can add your customer details with birthday message at sms panel. SMS panel will automatically send sms on the customer’s birthday.

Can I integrate SMS api at my web portal?
Yes you can. We have ready made script for sms panel.

How many characters in a message can hold?

As per international rule, 160 characters(including space) = 1 sms.
If your text is greater than 160 characters, then first message takes 160 characters and Next message holds 153 characters. 7 characters hold information for joining.

If I send 500 characters message, how many messages will be counted?

It is very simple, Please see below
160 +153+153+34 = 500
Therefore, 4 messages will be counted.

I have used an Inventory software, can I send sms to our customers through the software?
Yes, You can send sms alert to your customers for their due payment and reminding for payment. Just you have to integrate our sms sending api to your software and internet connection in your computer. You have to purchase Transactional sms package.

At my website, when a customer is registering, OTP (One time password) need to be sent to customer’s mobile instantly. Is this possible with your bulk sms gateway?

What is sender ID?
Sender Id is combination of 6 characters ( A-Z), Sender Id is also identification of a organization. Like VK-SBIINB, Sender Id is after hyphen. When you send message through web panel, sms will send with the sender Id to identify your messages.

I have received sms from ICICI bank, with VK-ICICIB, Can you explain me about VK which is before ICICIB?

Actual sender ID is 6 characters after hyphen (-) and First two characters before hyphen define Operator name and location. VK means Vodafone Kolkata, therefore Vodafone operator send sms from Kolkata server.

After taking your sms service, if we are not satisfied with your service, then what can I do?
Don’t worry about your money. If you complain us within 7 days from purchase date, we will refund your unused sms price. For example, You purchase 5 thousand promotional sms at Rs. 1000 + 180 (18% GST on Rs.1000)
You used two thousand sms then complain us for refund, we will refund your money for three thousand sms( Rs. 600 excluding GST), the GST amount can not be refunded.
