Sender Id is combination of 6 characters ( A-Z), Sender Id is also identification of a organization. Like VK-INFSKY, Sender Id is after hyphen. When you send message through web panel, sms will send with the sender Id to identify your messages.

Actual sender ID is 6 characters after hyphen (-) and First two characters before hyphen define Operator name and location. VK means Vodafone Kolkata, therefore Vodafone operator send sms from Kolkata server.
